Opportunity: Author needed to convert paper worksheets to a mobile app
Mike Riggs is a rigging industry safety expert and author in Knoxville, Tennessee, and the President of the Association of Crane and Rigging Professionals. His book, The Complete Rigger’s Reference Handbook, contained old-fashioned paper worksheets for riggers and crane operators to take into the field. Having to rely on paper worksheets and manual calculations sometimes resulted in guesswork and confusion. Mike wanted to update to a phone App, but didn’t have the technical know-how to create it himself. Through his daughter, Mike heard about Imprezzio.
Solution: Imprezzio Global created the Rigger’s Calculator App from scratch, which can be used with iPads and iPhones or Android. The app allows riggers and crane operators to quickly reference capacity charts on hundreds of rigging items, without having to lug around books, brochures, and manuals.
